PARADISE FOUND

My last holiday was in Croatia. We started off in Petrcane for the Garden Festival (more on this later), then travelled south to Zadar, Split then Dubrovnik.

Although there is no sand to speak of, the beaches were some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. After 2 hours we finally found Brela.

I would highly recommend searching for the hidden beaches. They are normally dominated by those with yachts or sailboats but if you're up for a challenge you can try and search by bus.

I'm looking for somewhere to go over Christmas and new year.  Last winter we went to Egypt which was boooooring! Stuck in a resort in the middle of the desert. Good snorkelling though.
