FIRST POST - Charlie Le Mindu

I'm addicted to cutting my hair. Having not touched it for the last 6 months I look a lot like Pat Sharpe circa the 'Funhouse' years. I've promised my long suffering boyfriend that I won't cut, colour or shave any hairs on my head until I try looking more lady-like than dyke.

Whilst looking for some hairspiration I came across Charlie Le Mindu.

French born Charlie started his career aged 16 in a punk hairdressers salon in Bordeaux. He shaved both clients and their dogs. Unsatisfied, he moved to Berlin where he cut and styled the heads of the underground club scene. In 2009 Charlie moved to London where he is now one of the coolest cats in town cutting the tresses of artists such as Peaches, Lady Gaga, and Uffie. It was only when his fashion designer boyfriend asked him to make a wig for his collection that Charlie decided that wig making would become his specialism. Charlie has styled catwalk shows for Pam Hogg and recently presented his own collection at London Fashion Week.

Should I book an appointment? Eh mibbe not this week...lovin your work though Charlie. x
